Glean Admin Guide
Speech to Text, Transcribing Audio, AI Note taking
Glean is an audio note-taking tool where students can record their lectures and visually see the recordings as “blocks”. Students can create notes, insert images, and have their recordings transcribed, leading to better organized notes.

License Management
Admin Portal
❶ Click on Profile Icon
❷ Then click on "Open Admin"
Assigning License
View active invites
❶ Click on "Invites" tab
❷ Then click on "Invite Users" to add user
Fill out the user information to invite the student
Email: john.doe@cuny.edu
Name: John Doe
Expiration: 2 years from May
Account Standing
❶ Click on the date "# years ago" to view their account status
? Expired User: a user license that's already been expired
? Signed Up: a active license being used by the user
Revoking License
Remove users who're inactive after +2 years (graduated students), confirm with the office the student is graduated.
❶ Click on "Users" tab
❷ Then click on "Last Active"
❶ Click on the 3 dot menu to edit the user
❷ Then click "Expire User Access"
❸ Confirm to revoke the student's access to their license by clicking "Expire User"
