During this unprecedented time in education, relationships among staff to staff, staff to student, and student to student are more important than ever. Research shows that systematic attentiveness to relationships causes positive changes to student behavior, as well as better academic results.
During this presentation by the BARR Center, participants will engage in an SEL lesson that demonstrates how to attend to the aforementioned relationships. Participants will also receive a Back to School Educator Toolkit. This toolkit guides educators on how to create space for self care and intentional connection with colleagues. These resources can be used immediately regardless of the operational setting of the school.
